Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about what you do?

My name is Megan Sweet, my organization is called Your 3 Eyes, and I support my clients to employ Intellect, Insight, and Intuition to identify the solutions they seek in their personal and professional lives. I primarily work with nonprofit and educational organizations, specializing in strategic planning, systems alignment, and community engagement.

What motivated you to get a new headshot?  How old was your previous headshot?

I never had a professional headshot before going to Studio 72 (not counting school photos!). I was drawn to Studio 72 because the photos were just beautiful but also original.

How did you feel about your old headshot, and what were you looking for in your new one?

I never had a professional headshot before going to Studio 72 (not counting school photos!). I was drawn to Studio 72 because the photos were just beautiful but also original.

In what ways do you think your new headshot has impacted your business, visibility or job search?

My new headshot elevated my visibility quite a bit--for a while there, I was on a podcast and convention circuit, and my headshot was featured heavily.

Have you received any feedback on your new headshot?

People always say how nice I look in it and that it captures an essence of my personality that shines through.

How important do you think a professional headshot is for someone in your field?

It's very important. I am asked for a headshot at least once a month, if not more often.

What advice would you give to someone considering getting a new headshot?

Find a place where you will be comfortable, and look at the kinds of photos that the professional tends to take.

Were you nervous or uncomfortable with the idea of having your photos taken and if so how was the experience in the end?

I hate having pictures taken of me, so I was definitely nervous. The experience was quick and painless, and I felt very happy by the end.

How did you prepare for your headshot session, and do you have any tips for others on how to get ready for theirs?

I didn't prepare besides thinking about what I wanted to wear.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience or the impact of your new headshot?

I just loved that there were no prompts to cross my arms to look like a boss lady or put my chin in my hand! I felt like me, and that's the best thing of all!

How was your experience working with S72 for your headshot session?

I had a great experience--you were calm, focused, and all about business.
