Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about what you do? 

I am a pastor of a church, an author and conference speaker. I have the wonderful opportunity of helping people grow in their gifts and calling and helping them find grace and peace.

What motivated you to get a new headshot?  How old was your previous headshot?

I have never had a professional headshot and finally realized that it was time to get my act together!

How did you feel about your old headshot, and what were you looking for in your new one? 

I was looking for a headshot that was both professional and natural looking.

In what ways do you think your new headshot has impacted your business, visibility or job search? 

My new headshot perfectly fits with the variety of needs I have. Sometimes I am speaking in more formal events as well as more casual leadership conferences for young adults. Working with Jeff provided me with the different poses and looks that I needed.

Have you received any feedback or comments on your new headshot?

Everyone loves them and I am extremely satisfied.

How important do you think a professional headshot is for someone in your field? 

I do think it is important and I am embarrassed that it took me so long to get a professional headshot!

What advice would you give to someone considering getting a new headshot? 

I chose Jeff because I really loved his work. His subjects look natural and he does a great job of capturing their individual look and personality.

Were you nervous or uncomfortable with the idea of having your photos taken and if so how was the experience in the end? 

I was nervous and wasn't sure I would be a good subject! But I was immediately at ease meeting Jeff and his studio is warm and inviting and it was easy to be myself. Once he was shooting the pictures, he made it simple and easy and the results were great.

How did you prepare for your headshot session, and do you have any tips for others on how to get ready for theirs?

I tried to get a good nights sleep and follow Jeff's advice about what to wear.

How was your experience working with S72 for your headshot session?

Jeff was very professional and kind and made me feel at ease and it was actually a pleasant experience getting my picture taken. He also did a great job with the retouching of the photos.
