Can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about what you do?
I am the Head of Product Support for a Startup that focuses on solving difficult problems with the combination of Quantum Technologies and Artificial Intelligence
What motivated you to get a new headshot? How old was your previous headshot?
My previous headshot was almost four years old, so I wanted to get a more recent representation of what I look like now.
How did you feel about your old headshot, and what were you looking for in your new one?
My old headshot was just ok. I was looking for a professional headshot with a little more of an executive presence.
In what ways do you think your new headshot has impacted your business, visibility or job search?
I use it in all internal and customer facing profiles and I think it presents a consistent and professional appearance to match my communication style.
Have you received any feedback on your new headshot?
Yes, mainly from colleagues. All positive!
How important do you think a professional headshot is for someone in your field?
A professional presence is important for someone in a senior leadership position.
What advice would you give to someone considering getting a new headshot?
Look at the work of the professional that you are considering. I saw Jeff's work and it was what convinced me to work with him.
Were you nervous or uncomfortable with the idea of having your photos taken and if so how was the experience in the end?
No, I wasn't nervous. Jeff explained the process up front and gave great directions to make the experience easy and painless.
How did you prepare for your headshot session, and do you have any tips for others on how to get ready for theirs?
About 10 days before my session, I got a haircut and picked out my outfit with a look that represents me and how I am.
